"Brokeback Mormon"

My very first blog entry! Tonight's performance will be called "Brokeback Mormon" in honor of the Oscars. Sure hoping that "Brokeback Mountain" sweeps the Oscars. I'm very grateful for those audience members who have chosen to spend their Sunday night at the SoHo Playhouse. We should be done in time to catch part of the Oscars. A very special thank you to members of Affirmation (GLBT Mormons) and Gamofites (Gay Mormon Fathers) who drove all the way from Virginia and Washington, D.C. to see today's matinee. It was also a pleasure speaking at St. Bart's Episcopal Church earlier today. I met with their GLBT Fellowship after a very moving worship service. I'm always inspired by how loving and inclussive the Episcopalian Church is (not to mention progressive!). I had an Episcopalian boy friend and we would attend Grace Cathedral in San Francisco whenever I visited him there. Thank you to the Episcopalian Church for always making me feel "worthy" of God's love. Happy Oscar Night to all!

Steven, I have fond memories of another Oscar night at Holinko so many years ago! Glad to see that things are going well in NYC.

Best,
